Day 5 - Oh we do like to be beside the seaside

So, if we're in Venice then there must be canals right? Actually yes! Just a couple of streets back from the madness that is the beach we found ourselves strolling along canal paths, crossing pretty wooden bridges and admiring the lovely houses

Despite the temperature being in the high 70s, everywhere is getting ready for Halloween.....

Although some of the places we saw clearly think that every day is Halloween

Nathalie has had her quota of weirdness for the day and is off out for dinner with her friends tonight - the rest of us are off to see some blues. LA weekly tells us: " The setting is a tiny, neon beer sign–lit, old-school tavern, which is overseen by the rather eccentric, bearded Moose Lodge shot-caller/barkeep Bailey". Rather eccentric sounds good to me and I am sure that Marc will be posting a review of the music at some point!
